It is my job as a professional photographer to find a creative and authentic way to tell your story–whatever it is right now. I think that the every-day, vernacular parts of our lives are worth saving just as much as the extraordinary ones. The images we make together will be a timeless reflections of part of your life.
I am all about artistic and adventurous portrait sessions. I want to get to know you and make sure you feel comfy in front of the camera. Yeah, I know, it can be kind of awkward. But my personal goal is to guide you so well that you won’t even have to ask what to do with your hands.
All portrait sessions include professionally edited, high-resolution digital files delivered to you in a beautiful online gallery. You will have unlimited downloads, personal printing rights, and access to professional print services right from your gallery.
Portraits
A portrait session is a great way to commemorate milestones, but you don’t need to have a special occasion to book a session. I’m here to help you celebrate yourself, your relationship, your accomplishments, or just the changing of the seasons of life. Even the seemingly mundane moments in life can be a perfect opportunity to snap a few photos.
The possibilities are endless, but here are a few moments you might want to remember through photos: a proposal, engagement, senior year/graduation, growing into your identity, your anniversary, important birthday, a new job, moving, reclaiming your body, starting over, getting a pet, losing a loved one, beating cancer, starting a business, going back to school…..
I’m open to pretty much all of it.
However! I do NOT work with newborns. I’d be happy to refer you to someone who does.

adventure
Do you just have an itch to go exploring and take some photos along the way? Yeah, me too. This is kind of a free-form portrait session that we figure out together. You can wear whatever you want–dress it up, or go more casual. The point is that we are shooting on the move–exploring together. I am an experienced hiker, and always down for that, but it doesn’t have to be out in the wild! Urban adventures are fun too. Adventures usually last 2-4 hours.

As a military spouse I’ve been on a wild ride with a lot of big moments with my husband. I am here to document those moments for you! Some examples include: promotions, award ceremonies, re-enlistments, hellos & goodbyes.
